Today @1pm www.freeagentradio.com: The pageant is this week, and the contestants arrive in Philadelphia today! “On The Grind with Rhonda Supreme” has Aleta Anderson, Executive Producer of The Miss Black America Pageant, as the guest today. The Pageant is 49 this year! Black Women were once restricted from entering into the Miss America Pageant. Because of this exclusion, in 1968 Mr. J. Morris Anderson developed and produced the Miss Black America Pageant. The (MBA) pageant “was created to project the Black woman in all her charm, poise, and beauty, and to provide her with a world-class event that would celebrate her standards, talent, and African heritage.” If you would like to register as a 2018 contestant, or you know of a young woman 18 to 29 years of age and would like to sponsor her into the pageant, please follow the link and start the process. Hurry! Time is running out! Register now…and don’t forget The Little Misses ages 7-17!

Chance The Rapper’s Child Support Case Closed

Chance The Rapper and Kirsten Corley — the mother of his daughter — have reached an agreement that quietly closes their child support case.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that legal representatives for both sides appeared in court today (March 20) to sign off on the agreement, that promises “substantial parenting time for both” parents as they have decided to live separately for the best interest of their daughter, Kensli Bennett.

“Really, that’s the way it should be done,” Corley’s attorney, Enrico Mirabelli said. “And when you settle between yourselves, you leave nothing to chance.” No pun intended.
